Statement of Purpose

NewMed Healthcare Ltd, trading as MedHub, was founded on a strong clinical foundation and a commitment to delivering high-quality, personalised healthcare to the community of Newmarket and beyond.

After qualifying as a Registered Adult Nurse in 2009, our founder, Chrissie Param-Phillips, gained valuable experience across surgical wards and emergency departments, where she developed a particular interest in skin and wound care. Her passion led her to work as a Specialist Nurse for a private wound care company, as well as within a Harley Street-based aesthetics clinic, deepening her expertise in both medical and aesthetic dermatology.

In 2016, Chrissie launched The Medical Skin Clinic Brentwood, followed by a second location in Newmarket in 2018.

Recognising the need for a truly patient-centred, multi-specialty private healthcare service in the region, the clinic sought CQC registration and achieved a “Good” rating upon it’s first inspection in 2022.

MedHub was born in 2024—designed to serve the Newmarket population with an exceptional, integrated hub of GPs, dermatology, minor surgery, menopause care, and health screening, and distinguise itself from the dermatology focused side of the business.

Today, MedHub operates as a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered provider, with a growing team of clinicians working under practising privileges. We continue to uphold the highest standards of clinical governance, patient safety, and personal care—grounded in Chrissie’s vision of a healthcare model that is modern, multidisciplinary, and deeply human.

Alongside MedHub, The Medical Skin Clinic continues to thrive as our specialist aesthetic division, delivering ethical, dermatology-informed treatments in a medically led environment.

From a single practitioner to a multi-clinician hub, MedHub has grown through integrity, experience, and a deep-rooted belief that everyone deserves access to exceptional care.
